NELSON CHESS CLUB

Last Tuesday the dub held the first regular meeting of the season, sixteen players taking part in a friendly mateli, resulting in a win for •Mi Severne’s team by 6 to 2. During the season a major and minor handicap tournament have been arranged, with an entrance fee of 1/-, entries to be handed to the secretary by the last Tuesday in April. There will be a prise in each section. The match against Auckland on April 22nd is the first of the season’s telegraph matches.
