U.OXTHLY MEETING Following further business was transacted at the meeting of the Nelson Hospital Board yesterday afternoon after we went to press;--CORRESPONDENCE The Director-General of Hospitals wrote asking for information as to the cottage, hospital at Motueka. The secretary was instructed to notify the, writer of the present position. Several other departmental letters were read and dealt with. From the Druid’s Lodge, Collingwood, re medical officer for the district.—Left to Town Committee. From the Nelson City Council forwarding a resolution expressing appreciation of the Board’s altitude in connection with the Cawthron Trustees’ claim to £15,000 given by the late Mr faffthron. —It was resolved to acknowledge receipt of the letter. In answer to. Mr Win, the secretary stated thet applications were now being called for a medical officer for the Murchison district. Several other matters were dismissed and dealt with before the meeting adjourned.
