Won by a head, three lengths between second and 1 third. Time 2.16. Grandstand Handicap: Golden 1, Wafthea 2, Runny 3. Won by a length. Time 1.-5 4-5. The race was re-nm after a false start, in which Great Hope, Prince Lyons, and Else Gay held leading places in order on completion of the distance.
