TEA, CONCERT AND PRIZE GIVING
Tho scholars of the Cathedral Sun- , day Scliools sat down, last evening, to a sumptuous tea, and later gave an excellent enjoyable concert under -Mrs. A. R. Dyson's leadership, to an overflowing roomful of parents and friends. The programme was as follows: Song and chorus",' "Hiawatha's Melody ot Love" D. Rogers and M. Parsons; recitation. M. Griffin; song find chorus '.'Canoe Song," R. Hughes and 11. Bush; recitation, R. Oughton and R. Kenning; chorus "Tapu ; recitation, A. Bush; song "In Winter, M. and E. Claugliton; recitation The Sundav Hat," M. Parker.; song, M. Irent; recitation, M. Parsons; song Dulcio and the Moa," by E. McCormack; recitation, Miss S. Chappell; song and chorus "There's a Big Lot of bunch i»e" ; story, The Dean; chorus "Goodnight." , Then followed the presentation 01 bouquets to Mrs Weeks, who presented the prizes; to Mrs Dyson, who trained und accompanied the children; and to Miss Kirby tho superintendent of the Wood school.
