J_ enter into any scheme ot lamuy ramement to* which a mentally deSivf person is a necessary party, ami agree to the alteration of conditions of partnership into which Iht mentally defective person has cntcu.d for the purpose of more advantage - ly disposing of or vending up the busness, or preventing it until the recovery of the patient; to carry on any trade or business of ft patient for a period not exceeding two years; expend any money belonging to a defective in the purchase of a homo for a mental defective or ins 01 ha wife, husband, or children; like proceedings on behalf of a men al de ec#ive under the Parody protection Act. Arrangement is made for the recognition of orders or declarations <> lunacy made in the Empire, and power is given to the Public Trustee to deal with any New Zealand estate ot a peif,on confined in an asylum m any part of the Empire.
