It was spited ho was a man of good character).'and has assisted to recover a large amount o. the stolon property; ’Ho was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment Lieut.' William Reeves, of the N./. Forces,' admitted: the theft of stores from the Annexe. It was stated‘ho had control of £30,000 worth of goods and bore a good character. Ho w«; m ill-health. 'He was sentenced to months’ probation, to-pay the costs, and pay C 37 to. the person who innocently bought soinc of the> stolen property.
