ENTHUSIABITOALLY RECEIVED Tho second performance of “Our Reveille’ ’at the Theatre Royal last evening was -enthusiastically received by a largo audience. Tho various ballets ,dances, etc., went with a suing, tiho performers showing tho greatest confidence in their wane. As on tho first night, tho electrical effects were a pleasing feature, and the orchestra (under the leadership of Miss Holt) again gave valuable aid. ’lho aerial fox trot by Miss K. and Mr Lints was one of the “star” turns ol the evening, and was insistently recalled, when Miss Everett was the renumber which called forth marked apcipient of floral tributes. Another probation was “Oh! \\ hat a difleierieo the Navy made to mo,” in which Miss MacDonald took the solo, and received several bouquets. The Military Ballet. went with a rollicking swing, and earned enthusiastic encores. One of the most effective items was 1 ‘“'A , r,:> waring ’em higher in Hawaii ’ (Miss l>ulcie Hamilton soloist),- and was verv warmly applauded, ihe Russian Ballet, the* Pierrot Ballot, the Boa Boa Ballet., and “Oh I By -lingo (Miss M. Aydon, soloist), “By the Gay .Seaside ” “Ten Minutes in Cherry Blosson'Land,” (Miss D. Horne soloist), the human statuary, and the duct Do You Like Me,” by Miss MacDonald .and Mr Lints, and tho Human Back or Cards, wore also well 1 given, and tne whole performance was a decidedly successful one. Little Meg. Chmmo a-tain performed in a. pleasing manner, and received ■ several tributes from hex admirers. “Our Reveille” will be repeated aaain this evening. There will be a matinee to-morrow afternoon, commencing at 2.30, when prices will be 3/-, 2/- and 1/-, children half-price. Special numbers will bo •presented for the’ children and there will be a change of programme.
