The 'Limes makes complimentary reference to Mr Massey’s tenth anniversary of accession to office. The paper says lie has ever been a determined fighter, always pledging the energy and interests of Ills State in the best service of the Empire. The article eulogises the wholehearted manner in which lie urged the people of New Zealand lo Know the full weight of their patriotism and resources into the allies’ fight for world-freedom. There was not a moments hesitation _on his part in guaranteeing the practical patriotism of New Zealand on behalf of Dio Empire. Tho article also refers oulogistically to New Zealand’s war effort, giving statistics of Die contribution ia men. It adds a tribute to Mr Massey’s consistent attitude regarding the War Cabinet and his efforts in favour of Imperial preference, and records bis useful work at the Peace Conference.
