It is announced that Italy will shortly sign a trade agreement with Russia’s commercial envoy, but an extraordinary situation has arisen as regards the mission’s baggage,- which includes 27 suspiciously heavy boxes. The mission refused to permit a Customs examination, and the Minister for the Interior compromised restricting the examination to four selected packages. When these wore chosen members of the miss ion became excited, opposed the opening, and insulted the porters, who with the assistance of officials, refused to allow anything to leave the Customs until everything was inspected. - - -
