HOUSE DESTROYED BY LIGHTNING.
STORM IN THE NORTH (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. There was an exceptionally heavy thunderstorm at Te Aroba West on Monday afternoon. Maurice Kicly’s six-roomed residence was struck by lightning, destroying the building. Lightning also split a largo telegraph post nearby. Mr Kioly and family wore on holiday at the Thames beach. I lie house was unoccupied.
