STORM ON ENGLISH COAST

Cable Association) LONDON, Dec. 2, There were several wrecks during a storm on the west and south coasts last night, including tho big steamers Ansgln and Hathor, on the coast of Cornwall. The two crews, totalling 69, were rescued. A severe gale is raging in the British Isles. Several coastal vessels wore wrecked with loss of life. Five of the erew of the Rhoscolyn lifeboat were drowned while proceeding to the assistance of a vessel in Carnarvon Bay. Ships on (be Tyne broke from their moorings and collided with others, doing considerable damage.
