The highest authority denies the rumour of the Prince of Wales’s engagement to Margaret of Denmark. As a result of German delegates ue-: gotiations with the Reparations Comniwsion in Paris, Germany has agreed, to hand over to the Allies 174,000 fowls. 27,000 goats, and 15,250 jugs, also' to surrender within half a year thirty thousand horses, 125,000 sheep. 60,000 built# and oxen, and 30,000 cows and heiferp.—Press Association. It is reported that the Prince of Wales will ride Kinlaria at the grand military meeting at Sandown in March, 1921. Elizabeth, the sixteen-year-old daughter of H. B. Irving, made a successful debut, at the Titania -Court Theatre. Mr. Churchill will soon write his memoirs dealing, besides the war, with the ohiof incidents leading thereto. , . ' ..
