The Prime Minister received a cable from the Director-General of ; Raw Materials that the demand for crossbred at the London November wool sales was very limited, particularly for coarser qualities. Reserves were based oh approximately the following prices: —For A and B grade average combing greasy wools 60-64, merino,24d to 26d ; 55-58, half bred, 20Jd to 26|d: 48’s to 50’s, fine crossbred, I7|d to 20§d; 44’s to 46’s, medium crossbred,; 15d to 16$ d • 86’s to 40’ s, coarse crossbred, j 13jd to 14£ d. ' . 1 The Director General adds that it is his intention to fix the limits for creasy wool 44’s to 46! s, and Weoem* her sales at nett New Zealand appraisement prices, without any adoi* Ition for charges. These are approximatelv, 44’s to 46’s, 15Jd to 173; 36’s to 40’s, I4*d to 15fd.
