PLUNKET SOCIETY

The monthly meeting of the Plunket Society was hold on Wednesday in the Waimea County Council room. ' In the absence of the president, Mrs C. Oraham was appointed to the chair. The Nurse’s monthly report was road. She had paid 125 visits to homos, and tho number of visitors to the Plunket Rooms was 137. There are many babies suffering from different ailments, but all are making good progress. Mrs Pogson’s. resignation as treasurer was accepted with regret, a hearty vote of thanks and appreciation of her services was accorded to her by acclamation. M iss Hunter-Brown was appointed treasurer pro tom. Mrs Pogson presented an audited statement of accounts for the halfyear ending Sept. 30th. It showed that riie committee’s finances were satisfactory
