LONDON, Oct. 11

The Daily Chronicle’s Berlin correspondent states that German industries are rapidly reviving despite heavy taxation and extensive and Costly repairs and renewals to plant. The examination of companies’ balance-sheets published in September dealing with mm, steel, coal, textiles, breweries, papermaking, glass, and porcelain, shows that 168 paid increased dividends compared with 1918-19 j 59 declared similar dividends, 13 decreased dividends, and 19 no dividends.
