From S. W. Hogg, Talmna, re gatcp on road leading to Hursthonse estate. —The Chairman and Mr Mncniahon to report to next meeting. From M. Reeves, re back road, at Stoke. —Road to be put in order as .soon a« grant ie available. The secretary was ' instructed to write to ranger re stock straying on roads. .Amounts were passed for payment amounting to 841 14s sd. THE W AIM FA. The number of lambs this year appears to be above the average. Messrs C S. Haycock and Hons .accounted for 7hO on their Aniseed Valley run last week, and expect about 100 more helore shearing time at the end of November (about 80 per cent.); Messrs .lames Hart and Sons,. Mr. A. btiatlord, Mr. Ross, and Mr. A. Max also give good reports. On Haycocks’ run iwo ewes wore seen with triplets. Wo are having favourable, rains, and (Hero is promise of abundance of grass. Properties continue to change hands, and m every case the seller makes a profit, which shows well lor the future of the district.
