MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE (United Press Association) PALMERSTON N., This Day. The hearing of a charge of mare slaughter against Warren Newth in connection with the motor collision whicli took place at Sandou on May 20th, by which A. E. Egiinton, A. E, Penny and Frank Kidman lost their lives, commenced in the Supreme Court. , After accused had been charged the Court adjourned to allow the jury to inspect the scene of the accident. Newth, who had previously been on bail, was detained in custody.
