M. Hara replied that the world considered Japan progressive, and one cf the great live Powers ; but there were undoubtedly many things in which Japan’ needed to be careful. ■BITTER FEELING. July 12, 8.45 a.m.) ‘ TOKIO, July 10 Observers here consider it a matter of great importance that the iovarer Minister for Justice, Ozaki, announced that he would henceforth abandon, all political parties and wagp an independent fight to defeat militarism in Japan. A bitter fight is being con■ducted iu the Diet, where the uuw jority party, which is supporting the Government, is attacked. The Opposition parties introduced a. resolution asking the Government to retire, due to its economic, Siberian, and foreign policies and opposition to iiuvoisa! suffrage.
