July 10—steamer PATEENA. 1212, Sowell, for Picton and Wellington. steamer PAP APT) A. 7697, Martin, for London, via Wanganui and Wellington. steamer KAITOA, 303, Wiidman, fur Wellington. The Pfttoona sailed for Picton and Wellington at 5 p.m. on Saturday, and reached the latter port at 10.25 a.in. yesterday. She returns here to-mor-row morning, and .sails at 7 a.m. for Picton and Wellington. The s.s. Paparoa sailed for London via way polls at 3 p.m. on Saturday, and reached Wanganui at 10.50 a.m. yesterday. The Hina sails for Golden Bay at 10 to-night. \ The’Nikau sails for Wellington divetc at. 7 o’clock this evening. The Kaitoa arrives from Wellington to-niprrow morning, and sails on return trip for Wellington direct at 7 p.m. The Kaitoa makes a trip to and from Motueka to-morrow, leaving here at 10 a.m. and returning same tide. The llegnlus leaves Wellington tonight for Westport, Grey-mouth, and 'Wanganui. The W'aimea arrived here from Westport yesterday. -She sails for Greymouth direct at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Alexander sails at 9 o’clock tonight for Westport, Grey mouth, and Picton. The steamer Sofala, from Calcutta, via Eastern ports and Auckland, arrived at Wellington Jit 12.35 p.m. on Friday. .. . i The Port Lyttelton is to sad at midday tu day for Loudon. The Cathiaraet was to have sailed from Wellington yesterday morning for Loudon. The U.S. and a Line steamer Donald McKay arrived at Wellington on Friday from New York, via Panama and Auckland. The vessel is to discharge general cargo and 40,000 cases of oil. ” Though no definite advice of the Manuka’s departure from Sydney has vet been received, she is expected at Wellington to-morrow. _ , ... , The Westraiia which arrived at \\ etlington late on Thursday night from Melbourne direct, left Melbourne at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and experienced an unpleasant trip acioss the Tasman, rain falling at frequent intervals. Since the vessel was last at Wellington several changes have taken place among the officers. Mr Kendall has replaced Mr Warren as second engineer; Air Schofield has replaced Mr"Lhidler as second officer, and Mr Phillies has replaced Mr Ball as third officer.
