THE SITUATION EASED (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Published in The Times) (Rec. Jane 15, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 14. The Times correspondent in Dublin writes that the -American Republican Conventions’ action has depressed the Sinn Fein leaders and eased the Irish situation, and is likely to pave the way for the reopening of negotiations for a. settlement. The Nationalists are expecting early Government overtures.
