Renkiu, Minister for the Interior in a speech, stated that Belgium should have a well organised army, capable of preventing a, disaster worse than that of 1914. Alliances and military arrangements between Britain ami France' ought to furnish Belgium with means of defence, hut their materialisation was uncertain.
