The Methodist General' Conference adopted a resolution expressing . apprehension at the prevailing laxity of morality in the community generally, especially where f he relations of the sexs were concerned. The Conference appointed a committee to report on some practical lines on which the Conference could act. The discussion indicated a feeling that what was characterised as cowardly silence and veiled utterances of the hurch. and parents should cease and methods he adopted by which the Church andw parents should cease and methods be adopted by which the Church and parents act in concert in Hie matter of sex education. '.The evils are considered to be largely the result of ignorance. y
