The batting of Otago was disappointing. and they were all out for 120-—McFarlane 19, Oalland not out 34, Hutchison 10, Alloo 10, Barron 17. Reed, I took five wickets for 44 runs, j McEwan two for 14, Watson 'one for 13. Reese two for 12. ( When stumps were drawn CanI terbury had lost three wickets for 63—Blunt 18, Worker 11, Hayes 15, Brouahan not out 11.
