In reply to a question, th e Chairman) said that it might »T>e possible to borrow money to carry on the work suggested, dr it might be possible to lease the land for reclamation. It would be necessary to obtain the report of an engineer and the sanction of the (Minister of Marine if the engineer’s report was favourable. Resolved' (Messrs Guy and Lomax) that all possible information, be procured with reference to the suggestions for the redajnation of mudflats.
