WHITE ARMY IN RETREAT

PARIS, Sept. 2. Tlie Bolsheviks nre vigorously pursuing the Russian- White Army, which is ■retreating from Pskoflt j,o the Narva. Th Bolsheviks are also pushing westward with a view to intercepting the retreat of the White Army. The posiion is critical, as the army is hemmed in against the eastern shore of L- ke Pripf't. IJie rearguard is attempting to check the pursuit at Gdoff, which the Bolsheviks are now bombarding. The Bolsheviks demand that the Esthonians Shall expel British sailors, which would entail the evacuation of Reval. ARCHANGEL DISASTER. (By Electric Telegraph-Copyright) Anri. & N.Z. The Lithuanians surrounded the Bolsheviks on the Lithuanians’ portion of the front. Heavy captures are expected.
