New York despatches from Pekin say tha.<j the Cabinet has resigned on account of the popular movement against alleged pro-Japanese members of the Cabinet. Hsufihih Chang intimated that] ho may also resign. Despatches from Tokio say that Japanese Government officials are taking a grave view of anti-Japanese clemonstra.ions at Shanghai, and fear there are Bolshevist, influences there.
