(United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June, 3. The Canterbury traction and stationary engine-drivers, firemen, and greasers’ dispute was before the Conciliation Council. Wages were agreed to as follows: —First-class certificated en-gine-drivers, Is 6|d per hour ; secondclass certificated engine-drivers, Is sd; jtlraction engine-drivers, Is 6J.fl>; firemen and greasers, Is 3^cl, plus 2Jd bonus all round. You'Ls’ wages were fixed at, 18 to 19 years lOd, 19 to 20 Is per hour. Overtime rates and statutory holidays were agreed to, but the question of annual holidays was held over for further consideration.
