DEE & SONS THE BIG SUIT AND BOOT STORE. Are Prices Coming Down? A great many people have asked us that question in the last few weeks. We want-to explain to everyone, so we tell you here We Don’t Believe either prices or wages will go back to their pre-war level. A great many earned exceptional wages during the period of war contracts in the big manufacturing mills and factories, and now that the war period is over the extra bonuses, may be cut down, but wages will never be so low again. Bravo S’ As to Prices As regards prices, it all depends on how they were marked. If they were marked high they, be easily reduced to a fair level; if they were marked close as ours were, they are already at that level, and as.low as they can be while Wool and Cotton and Labour costs remain above old levels. Now What’s to be done Do just as we’ve been doing—buy what you need* when you need it, at a place you can depend on. We are buying goods just as before, and we’re doing big business, because.our goods are dependable and our prices right, and we still . a nd expect continually to give excellent value. Some things are costing more, and we buy them because we know you want them, and some things are a little less and we charge you less. Pre=War Standard Clothes We are going on just a$ before, buying and selling good quality Clothes and Boots at the fairest prices possible. Bigger Bus mess Our Business is bigger than ever, because more people are finding out they can depend on our quality goods. We are going to keep on deserving your confidence and you can always be sure of the best va ue possible. v Our policy ds, and has been, to satisfy our Customers, so that they’ll come back and fetch their friends along, too.
