THE BIG SUIT AND BOOT STORE. I Are Prices Coming Down? 8 A great many people have asked ns that question I in the last few weeks. We want to explain to every- | one, so we tell you here I We Don’t Believe either prices or wages will go back to their pre-war level. A great many earned exceptional wages during | the period of war contracts in the big manufacturing I Trying and factories, and now that the war period is I over the extra bonuses may be cut down, but wages I will never be so low again. Bravo! I As to Prices ■m As regards prices, it all depends on how they were marked. If they were marked high they can be easily reduced to a fair level; if they were marked close as ours were, they are already at that level and as low as they can be while Wool and Cotton and Labour costs remain above old levels. Now What’s to be done Do just as we’ve been doing—buy what you need, when yon need it, at a place yon can depend on. We are buying goods just as before, and we re doing big business, because our goods are dependable and our prices right, and we still expect good busmess and expect continually to give excellent value. Some things are costing more, and we buy them because we. know you want them, and some things are. a little less and we charge you less. Pre-War Standard Cloihcs We are going on just as before, buying and selling good quality Clothes and Boots at the fairest prices possible. Bigger Business Our Business is bigger than ever, because more people are finding out they can depend on our quality goods. We are going to keep on deserving your confidence and you can always be sure of the best value possible. / Our policy is, and has been, to satisfy bur Customers, so that they’ll come back and fetch their friends along, too.
