BAZAAR ARRANGEMENTS. | 1 There wa& a largo attendance of j i friends and 1 supporters at the Natidwal j Reserve Band Bazaar Committee’s meet- j ing last evening. Mr \V. Lock, the > newly-appointed president, was in the chair. The secretary (Mr G. C. Mockler) stated that the arrangements were well ;' in hand, and.' that the public were taking a great interest in the band’s welfare. i A large quantity of goods have al- ’ ready been received, and more have been promised. The band have secured: the- services of Miss Estelle Beere and little .loan Beere, of Wellington, - who will stage the latest 'dafices. • An effii cient orchestra will provide' music each evening. The public are requested to purchase art union tickets ,a,> there are only a j limited number. . | Goods from the country may be. left at Mr H. CroucherVs Richmond, and at' Mr Pill’s store, Stoke. , • Further donations are asked for in: town, and may Vie left at the Red Cross, depot, Bridge street.
