CHRISTCHURCH, This Day
The adjourned inquest mi the body of ThomaW Kieghly, who died from ini’,vies as the result of being knocKm down on April 21st' by a motor car driven by ,31, Edwards, wag, resumed this morning. The Coroner returned -a verdicct that death was duo to injuries received by being mu over by a motor but there was no evidence of negligent driving. He added a rider that now that fast traction 1 had* been sanctioned over the highways, there was cast oil thos casing same a higher standard ol ewe than previously existed. Pedestrians. should' keep to the footpath much as possible, and should 1 , beep a look not for possible danger. Ihe rider was added nob to induce carelessness or rCoklessnea on the part of motorists, but to induce- all to excrete care.
