STOP-WORK AT GREEN ISLAND.
-■;, (United Press Association.) . DUNEDIN, April 7, The Green Island coalminers held a stop-work meeting on Saturday to consider the question ot obtaining improved conditions. .Delegates were appointed to wait on the employers, but no meeting took place, and another stop-work meeting was held to-day, and no work was done. One ot the principal changes desired by the -men is apparently that the companies.do trucking at mines, and another is that men should fill the boxes at the face ag the coal falls instead of sorting it into three classes, . 1 55S2 a&j&i
