THE PLACARD reads as follows: PUBLIC WARNING! BE it known to all men that, according to Medical opinion, a further outbreak of the Influenza Epidemic may occur within the next few months. It is, therefore, hereby proclaimed that the safest and most useful remedy Mn the primary stages of the outbreak is Alcoholic Stimulants, which should be available to all •citizens. It is, however, the purpose of a certain section of the community to prohibit the.use of this valuable and indispensable remedy which all .doctors of repute -recommend and use in all influenza leases. The public is hereby warned not to jeopardise their individual lives by acquiescing in the demands of Prohibitionists to prevent the use of alcoholic stimulants, either in health or disease. DR. T.
