RETURNING SOLDIERS
ARRIVAL OF NELSON MEN. . A portion of the Nelson men who came out by the Ajana arrived in Nelson'by the Nikau this morning, and in thp absence of the Mayor were met by Mr 'H. Saunders, junior, secretary of the- Sick and Wounded Soldiers’ Society. The remainder of the Ajana’s •Nelson men are expected to come on by the Pateena, and reach here to-mor-idw morning. The names of the soldiers who arrived this morning are:Private Kenny, Ngatimoti. Private Sowman, Takaka. Private Palmer, Wakefield. Private Lodge, Canvastown. Private Dickson, Tasman. The names of the men expec'-ed by the Pateena to-morrow, are : Sapper Hargreaves, Nelson. Private ‘Hollister, Nelson, Private Lodge, JNelson. Private Whiting, iMelson. Fnva’o Wilkinson, JNelson. Sergeant Walls, Nelson. : Sergeant Scannel, JNelson. Private O'Connor, Appleby. Private Challies, Appleby. Sergeant Simpson, Wairanga. 1 'Corporal .Currant, Motueka.
