The Nelson Farmers’ Co operative, Limited, report holding their first sale at 'Richmond Yards yesterday. There was a good yarding ol sheep, and the bidding throughout was good, though slow. Fat sheep sold well, and good conditioned ewes were in demand, but low conditioned ewes were hard to quit. Prices realised wore as follows :—Fat wethers, 23s 3d to 275; fat ewes, 18s 6d to 20s; fat lambs, 20s; S..M. breeding owes, good 15s to 20s; S.M. breeding ewes, medium 7s 6d to 12s; store wethers, 17s to 20s 3d; fat cows, £6.2s to £B.
