At yesterday’s meeting of the W*imea County Council the draft by-lav ■ providing for the licensing of motor vehicles, using the county roads was read, and the scale, of fees adopted. The scale is as follows Motor cycle, Ss per annum; motor cycle with, cide car, 10s; cycle car £1; tri-cylo or tri-car £1: motor car (not for hire) where nlmber of passengers to be carried is not exceeding three, £2; not exceeding 5, £3; exceeding five £4 ; motor lorries (for carriage of goods) where weight does not exceed two tons J35 ; not exceeding four tons £7, 10s» exceeding four tons £10; cars carrying passengers and running to timetable, not exceeding nine passengers £10; ex- ( ceeding nine £ls; cars for passengers, but not running to timetable, not exceeding six passengers £5; not exceeding nine £7 10s; exceeding nine £lO.
