In reference to the local'drivers’ dispute,' it is 'currently reported that the Wellington Union, aT a meeting last ifight decided to take stops to enforce «in eight-hour day. The men tfiave agreed not to arrive at stables till 8 o'clock in the morning, and to finish at etabl«T*«t 5 o’clock in the evening.
