WELLINGTON, This Dave At a meeting of the Executive Coun|il of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants to-day, the . following resolution was carried; “This council, having heard the report of its delegates on the Transport Workers’ Advisory Board, wish to extend its sympathy with the drivers in their reasonable demands for an increase in wages and wishes them every success in their efforts to obtain a living wage, based on a forty-eight hour week and is prepared to support them, in their efforts.
