The Allied Conference decided to invito the Russian factions to confer with the Allies at the Princes Islands, in the ■Sea of Marmora. INVITATION. TO RUSSIAN GROUPS (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON, Jan. 22. The 'Conference accepted President Wil son Russian proposal, disclaiming any desire to interfere in Russia’s right to settle her own affairs. Every organised group exercising political^and m-i'.'itary control in Siberia- and European Russia wil send three representatives to' meet the Allies’ representatives at the Princes Islands, in the Sea of Marmora, on February 15th, in order to discuss Russia’s wishes about bringing about happy internal relations. The invitation is conditional on the cessation of all hostilities. The fifth seat on the British delegation wil’. l be placed at the disposal of the overseas Dominion delegates.

DANISH MINISTER’S STATEMENT.

PARIS, Jan. 21. Mr Fraser states that it- is understood that Britain and America reached a complete understanding on the Russian situation some time ago. The suggestion was made that if the various Russian Governments could arrive at, some agreement among themselves measures would be taken to secure their representation at the Peace Gonfcreime. It is possibly, along these lines that America and Britain have agreed. An official communique states t-nau President Wilson arid the Premiers and Foreign Ministers of the Great Powers, assisted bv Japan-, received M. fecaveirais’s statement giving all the iiuoxmation at his disposal! m reference to the Russian parties. Very great progress was made towards agreement, and it is hoped that a concrete proposal will bo formulated to-morrow.
