RESERVISTS' MEDICAL CERTIFICATES.

Medical certificates furnished by men who are called up for- examination under the Military .Service Act for,the information of a Medical Board cease tp be the property of -~the reservists •con-cei-nod when once they.arfc handed over, and are not therefore'returned to them after examination. The ,military .authorities take the. standthat the information contained in .the medical: certificates, is often of a highly confidential nature.;and in order to safeguard-- the interests ox the; man examined the. Medical .Boards have considered it advisable to destroy the certificates immediately after perusal by the examining doctors. If a .re-' servist desires to retain .his'certificate he has' to ask his adviser to furnish the same in duplicate, one copy being for the Medical Board and th<3 other for himself. ' '■' ; ,
