WAKEFIELD DRAUGHT CLUB
The annual meeting of the Wakefield Draughts Club was he ; ld in the Oddfellows' Hall on Thursday last. There was a [rood attendance. The following office bearers were appointed:—President. Mr W. Arnold ; secretary and treasurer. Mi* J- G. Wilkens; captain and handicapper, Mr J. R- Clark. The meeting expressed the hope that the Nelson players would pay their long overdue visit to Wakefield. The next meting of the club will be on Thursday next at 7 p.m., when all intending members are requested to be present, as the competition for the Harris Bowl tSjSfeii n* full swing.
