The iNgaruroro and Tutaekuri rivers are overflowing their banks at Waima and .Melanee respectively. The" Ngaruroro rose very rapidly last night. Setters appear to have been prepared for the flood. The weather cleared locally at noon, but the rivers are rising still, though as the sea has moderated serious floods are unlikely.
