GOLDEN WEDDING
The golden 'wedding of Mx and Mrs F Lusty senior, of Richmond, is being celebrated to : day. Mr and Mrs Lusty, .'who .were married at Richmond on March 5, 1868, settled at Cqllmgwood in that year, but for 42 years past they have lived at Richmond, and for over 22 years they have resided at "Amberley Hill,' 'the homestead of Mt Lusty a late father, at which they were married -50 years ago. Mr Lusty is a native of Stoke, his late parents having been amongst the earliest settlers to reach Nelson in 1842, his father arriving with the shin Clifford and his mother in the Sir Charles Forbes. Mrs F. Lusty, although born in Kent, England ,came to New Zealand with her late parents as a child, and has lived here ever since. Of a family of eleven ten are now living, arid nine of these are attending the gathering of relatives which is being held to-day in honour of the occasion. The absent member of the family is Rifleman Ben Lusty, of the Eighteenth Reinforcements, who is on active service in Europe..
