Considerable ■damage has been done to the various works at Port Ahuriri. - - The Ar-ahura and Navua were unablo to come alongside the breakwalter, "j,. The seawater found its way into warehouses at the port. Huge waves are sending water over the seafront. Several of the smaller vessels have been knocked afbout. Richardson and Levy's Echo has- rtplt (been heard of since Friday, arid' some anxiety is felt for her safety,. It is hoped that she is sheltering off Cape /t Runaway.
