The Nleson Poultry Association held •a-:well-atended mee.ting last night. Mr J. Hockey (President) was in the chair. A. letter was read from the Chief Poultry" Instructor, stating that on ac-count-of other duties. Mr Cusgen -would not he able to visit Nelson before the -end* of -March, to give advice about culling, etc. The date of Mr Cussen's visit-would be- notified, and he -would bo able to judge the utility classes at the Association's annual show, which is to beheld on June 27th, 28th. and 29th. It* was resolved to inform the Cham--pionship Association, that, in the opinion of ihs gSelson it-is - granting too many championships for competition, at the shows of affiliated associations, ;. and that it is considered that three wduld-be sufficient. .-.--,_ ....
