At the annual meeting of the Zealand branch of the Empire Press Union, which was. largely attended by press men from all parts of the Dominion; the chairman (Mr C. Fenwick) delivered an interesting speech on the object and work of the Union. A use-, ful discussion took place on his motion for the adoption of - the. report and balance-sheet. Mr Fenwick was reelected chairman and the retiring' committee. was also re-elected.
