NELSON CLUB.
On Saturday afternoon the first round "of th e leathers finals was played on the Nelson' green, when HaTkness -defeated Stiles and Crawford (Field) 'beat Allen. Next Satuiday Allen- plays Stiles and Harkuess plays Crawford.
Th & third round for the Lyell Cup was drawn on Saturday, as follows : Befcts v. A. Haldane, Clayden v. J. , Bartlett, C. M. Collins v. Harrison, ' Uockwood v. Field, Mansford v. Allen, • Savage v. Crawford, Robertson v. A. j H. Leaper, Miller v. Hogg, Graham v. Turner, Strachan v. Harkness, Mon- j •son v. Angus, Richards a bye. This round; will close on March 16th. j •Lnampion Pairs: The semi-final i drawing is as follows: —Angus plays; T. Haldane or E. S. Cresswell (unfinished game), and Pitt plays Pauling. Senior Championship: Crawford defeated' A. Haldane in the semi-final, i and Pitt and Clayden have a game to j play. The final will b e between Crawford and Pitt or Clayden. Senior Championship, second round {winner to be found byi the 28th inst.): Calder beat T. Dee, "Whiting, Brundell, and W. Dee: Whiting beat Frost; T. Dee beat Whiting; Frost beat Brundell and 1 T. .Dee; Brundell beat Whiting and T. Dee; W. Dee beat Whiting. This evening a match will be played 1 on the Maitai green for the Wakefield Feathers between Pitt's rink (challengers) andl W. Dee's rink (holders). FIELD CUP. The monthly Field Cup match will be played on the Maitai green on Wednesday.
