WELLINGTON, This DayJ In reply' to -Mr Webb, the Minister of Mines said that in view of the possible working out of the Point Elizabeth Mine, the Department was making investigations near Seddonville. It had discovered a fair seam of coal. The Wallsend mine did not offer attractive prospects. In reply to Mr Wright the Minister of Defence said it was an idle rumour thak newspapers posted in New Zealand were destroyed in London. They were" sent right on to the front very regularly.
