A QUIET DAY. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON. This day. Replying to Mr Forbes in the House last night, the Premier said he was afraid he would not be. able to finish the business of Parliament and close the session this week. He thought it would probably be Tuesday week before members got away. The' Native Land Claims Adjustment Bill, the Washing UP Bill, (Hon. W. H. Hemes were read a second time pro forma.) The War Legislation Amendment Bill, (Hon. A. C. Herdman) was introduced and read first time. ' The House local bills, practically .the whole of dealing with Harbour Boards.
