Pair matches, also a gnhr- pin and gold: monogram, buckle, to the same player, as winner 'of the senior championship si":tiles. The D'lithie G'up was presented to Mr Pjatt for winning .the junior championship singles, the cup to be retained' permanently. at the request of Mr Duthio. Very special thanks were given to Mr Olayden for the coiistar.-i and careful attention iriven to the green, making, it one. of the best, if not the best country green in the Dominion. The club is very grateful to outside clu'bs for the. various visits and encouragement given, i'vdudin.g two rinks from the WeUinujton club, who were very pleased with their visit and spoke highly of the green. The Maitai Club are winners amd holders of the Wakefield (Dee) Cup for the season, and their names will/ be engraved oSi it as first season winners. The Wakiefield gold pins are held by Bird and Gamboni. and the Kerr buckles •byi Duncan. Bird, Baigent. Hogg (s). The cln'b hopes to arrange Labour 3>iv as a- pei:nanent date for opening each season, and Anniversary JOay for a whole day tournament.
